Maynilad seems join the Internet rush

After my motivational speaking and training at NYK-TDG Maritime Academy, I'm happy to get my real Maynilad Billing Statement. I'm happy to know early morning that "some people from Maynilad" visited my office to check my billing problem. But what's even more interesting is that Mark Isaiah David, Head, External Communications, Corporate Affairs & Public Relations of Maynilad Water Services, Inc., sent me an email in response to my blog entry. What's so interesting? Well, I think they created a "keyword alert" provided by Google, where your email is notified for every blog entry containing your "certain keyword." In this case, I think they simply used "Maynilad." So there, I'm happy to know that the real bill is P671 and not P12,000. Now, I can sleep well. I'm not going to reply to Mark's email and see if he gets this entry. I'm sure he will respond. In any case, I'd like to commend Maynilad for jumping int...

You made my life easier at the backstage. [Yes, i was the one manning the backstage during the last two Ariva! events in SMX. Yung makulit. haha.]  Haha! I wanted to buy a book of yours but I could not afford it that time during the event. Tapos, Boom! I had a freebie from your website! Parang himala lang! Thank you very much for that. I really appreciate it. I shall get hard copies soon! Keep on rockin'! Til' next time sir! Peace! JM "Jigs" Villaflor Posted via email from Filipino Motivational Speaker Philippines Asia

Baguio Country Club

Checking out from Baguio Country Club. It was indeed a wonderful stay here. Will have to transfer to another hotel for my next speaking engagement tomorrow at St. Louis University. I still can't find time to blog. Posted via email from Filipino Motivational Speaker Philippines Asia

Motivational Speaker for NCH Philippines National Sales Rally

Alright, in a while I'll be taking the center stage for a two-hour motivational speech. This is really exciting because these are sales people in the crowd. The Philippines is the top performing country among Asia Pacific NCH companies. They got 8% sales increase amid global recession. This performance was acknowledge by the CEO and that makes me even proud of being a Filipino. My talk will center on my latest book, The Obvious: There's No Secret To Success. Baguio Country Club is such a wonderful place to stay and do this seminar. At least, it's a good feeling to speak in this kind of venue. Still, the challenge is to loosen the event because the delegates seem to be firm and serious. I will have to put some fun as a motivate them to perform better for the new fiscal year. This is a business dealing with chemicals. I'll blog about this experience later. Posted via email from Filipino Motivational Speaker Philippines Asia

Birthday celebration of my business associate

Today, Pocholo Gonzales decided to celebrate his 31st birthday. I think I've heard people already partying upstairs. Maybe I should go up and make sure to still get some food! Anyway, Pocholo is such a wonderful business associate (and partner in crime?) Hahaha. A graduate of the University of the Philippines, he's now running his own company. It's pretty amazing to note that he was no one in Mariveles, Bataan, but after two quarters of his life, he's created his name in the industry plus an amazing family of his own. Tonight, there will be food and drinks on the table, a couple of songs, and stories. And surely, I don't want to miss any of them. So I'm going upstairs! -- What if you make 60% of what we make? http://www.lloydluna.com/affiliate/producers/ The Business Evangelist DL (632) 500.9881 FX (632) 239.9671 We've spoken to more than half a million people. GNN Special Election Coverage

Last day of our live election coverage here at GNN. I just had to take a break yesterday for my birthday. Now, I'm back to anchor again, today. I invited my good friend Ian Barcelona to guest in the show. He's a political analyst, a very good one, if I may. So, we're getting ready here at the studio. I'll blog later. Seeing the history as it unfolds

This is my second day (and probably the last should the Comelec proclaims the winners tonight) to anchor GNN's The Vote 2010, Destiny Cable's Comprehensive Coverage of 2010 Presidential Elections. This is an awesome experience for me. Today, I sat for four straight hours, giving the live reports, reading the partial unofficial counts from RMN, and just analyzing what transpired and what's going to happen next. It's a joy to be with other GNN Channel Hosts (for the Business Portal). It's nice working with all of you. But even if we're physically tired and stressed out, we sure enjoyed every moment of it. This is the first time for a two-year-old cable channel to come up with two live points covering the election as it happens. I'm proud to be part of it. 2010 Philippines Elections Results Website

One benefit of being an anchor in a live elections coverage is that you get the update first and fast. Covering this 2010 Presidential Elections gave me the easy to access to information especially from the reporters in the field. GNN The Vote 2010 on Channel 21 is a comprehensive coverage of election updates. Having anchored some segments, I feel happy about this job because I see it as a contribution to my country. In other words, this is a service to my fellow Filipino people. While they line up under the heat of the sun, my job (and my fellow GNN hosts) is to deliver the information and pass them to the public. And so this blog serves an early announcement as to where the  2010 Philippines Elections Results will be posted. Alternatively, the complete website address of this year's Philippines Presidential Elections is: http://electionresults.ibanangayon.ph/ Hope this post can help those who'd like to see the votes coming directly as Comelec makes the data public. Overwhelming problems with PCOS machines

As early as this morning when we opened GNN The Vote 2010, a comprehensive presidential election coverage, we've been getting complaints about malfunctioning machines for the elections.
